Last night's dinner was kind of a disaster. The chicken was the best part of the meal and it wasn't even that good. The corn was HORRIBLE. Seriously, I have never had an ear of corn this bad before. Guess it's my fault because some random shopper at Wegman's told me not to buy the corn because it wasn't "fully developed" I kind of laughed at her and filled up my bag. I should have listened....
The asparagus was only okay. It was crunchy and I don't think Abram fully cooked it (which again was my fault because I told him only 3-4 minutes...apparently it takes more on our grill) Oh well, there will be more dinner's in our future that I'm sure will be as good as this one.
Tuesday I woke up with a headache, and was pretty sure I wasn't going to run. But something deep down inside of me told me to suck it up and do it. So, I laced up my running shoes and hit the treadmill! I only did a mile but I planned on doing another one later! Breakfast was waaaayyy better than last night's dinner...
Banana boat and a whole wheat english muffin with butter (one side is sprinkled with cinnamon to try something new!!) And of course my princess cup ;) After my appointment I ran another mile and completed my 2 miles for the day. I'm proud of myself because originally, I didn't think I would be able to "fit it in" and quite honestly, it freaked me out (aka exercise guilt) Lunch today was excessive amounts of watermelon. I think I'm gonna need to buy another one this week, I can't live without this stuff right now. OBSESSED. Alright friends, see ya tomorrow! I gotta drop my car off in the morning again, so I will be running to and from the shop...which means CRAZY HILLS. Yikes. Wish me luck!
Question: Do you suffer from exercise guilt?
No exercise guilt for me - I wish I got it.
ReplyDeleteThe corn looks fully developed, it's probably just old and has started to turn the sugars (which make it sweet) into starch (which takes away the sweetness). Buy some at Ways, Harners or a farmers market- it will be must fresher.
